Insurance and saved kits
How to insure your PMC's gear, when it comes back after a death and how to rebuild saved kits in one click.
Insurance
Insurance protects the PMC’s gear: weapon, vest, helmet, backpack or rig. Ammo, meds and loot can’t be insured.
- Paid once per item, with Insure (or Insure all gear). The premium is 38% to 42% of the item’s price — the rate goes up for pricier items. Worn gear that can still be repaired is cheaper to insure.
- The item stays insured until it is lost on a PMC raid. It then comes back in 4 hours, uninsured.
- Once back, each item stays available for 48 hours for you to claim. New returns don’t renew older deadlines.
- Selling or salvaging the item ends the insurance, with no refund.
Don’t mix them up: insurance covers your gear; the secure container is the compartment whose contents are kept on death.
Saved kits
A saved kit stores the equipped gear plus the PMC’s ammo, meds and grenades. You have 3 kit slots, and up to 2 extra slots can be bought.
Rebuild kit fills whatever is missing in this order:
- Items from your stash that are not FIR (FIR items only if Use FIR items is on).
- Insurance returns ready to claim.
- Purchases from traders, within the Purchase cap and never spending below the Credit reserve.
With Restock automatically on repeat on, Repeat rebuilds the kit before every deploy. If the minimum is missing (a weapon and 10 rounds), Repeat stops and lists what is missing.
Tip: insure expensive gear before trying a new stage, and leave Repeat with auto-restock on for stages you have already mastered.
